CAM CHAT                                   Issue 12 May 2000

It's the first of may the sun is shining, the grass needs cutting, the cam chat needs writing and the noise from the next room would have you believe that a rugby match was in full swing when in fact its only five Burmese kittens and a Burmese Juvenile indulging in light exercise.  Never mind the noise I have a job to do so here we go.....

SHOW 2000 - The show went very well (all credit to those involved) and despite being in competition with the Essex, the number of cats attending were about the same as last year and we had many more visitors on the day than last year.

CamCat on the Net - The CamCat web site is now up and running at www.camcat.co.uk and is in the capable hands of our very own webmaster Paul Davidson.
If you want to have your say about the site or want to help keep the site dynamic with your ideas, visit the site and click on the "webmaster" icon, or email Paul at camcat@aberdusty.idps.co.uk

Symposium - On Sunday 8 October, CamCat are organising a Symposium to be held at the queens Veterinary College Madingley. Tickets are £40.00 which includes teas, coffees and a three course meal. There will be talks on Viruses, Genetics, cancer and nutrition plus (if there is time) a walk around the cat wards.   The full program will be published in the next CamChat.

Quickies - The kitten register is now being run by Graham Fisher the cost is one pound a litter or ten pounds for the year. Contact Graham on 01353 668034 or graham.fisher@care4free.net
